Wilma

Wilma 

When our daughter Shannon was a little girl we bought her a big stuffed bear. Shannon named her Wilma. Wilma sat in Shannon's room keeping watch from that day on. When Shannon left for college Wilma went with her.

I smiled when I saw Wilma sitting in our grandson's room. She seemed to fit right in.

A few weeks ago Shannon called and told me Eli, our 4 year old grandson, had made an announcement. Eli informed Shannon that Wilma would be going with him when he went to college!

I had to laugh to think that Eli was planning ahead! I don't know if Wilma will make that trip or not. Who knows?

The Choir Director

Yesterday at Planet Fitness one of the guys told me this funny story that happened to him at church.

When "T" sat down to play the drums he wasn't expecting to see what was about to take place. As he was playing the drums the Choir Director was really getting into directing. She had her hands in the air, dancing away. As she was dancing and jumping around "T" noticed that something was showing at the bottom of her choir robe.

It wasn't long as she continued to dance that "T" could tell that it was her slip. Before the choir number was over the slip was around her ankles. Never missing a beat the Choir Director gave a kick of her foot and her slip flew under "T's" drums.

I was cracking up when "T" said, "I didn't even know that she was on a diet!"
